Look into my eyes,
Can’t you see how much I want you?
I’m entranced by your gaze and I feel myself falling, leaning into you, eyes closed.
When I crash, I hope to be buoyed by your lips,
Caressed into a kiss.
I hope to be awakened into an heavenly bliss,
See Jesus in the back of my eyes and tell Him,
“God! So this is what heaven is.”

And I’d be an hypocrite for not noticing her smile till her face froze.

How To Write A Good Poetry Book

A good poetry book should guide the reader on a journey by introducing them to the themes represented in the first set of poems and subjecting their minds to a particular train of thought. Then it leads the reader through the book by building on the introduction and developing it— each poem adding value to the ones before it and providing context to the ones after it. A good poetry book is a journey made worthwhile for the readers by the poet, here’s how to write one.
